Health and Wellness

Well-Being

The Office of Student Success hosts a variety of events that focus on musicians’ well-being. Recently, we had a Body Mapping Workshop, a Performance Anxiety Panel, Animal Therapy, and weekly Wellness Wednesday events.

School-Life Balance

Finding the right school-life balance is instrumental in achieving success in college. The OSS offers one-on-one coaching sessions to help you with things like time management, using your planner, coping skills, and personalized success plans adapted to fit your specific needs. Current students can click here to sign up for a one-on-one coaching sessions with one of our OSS staff.

Community-Building

Taking time to meet others and network with fellow musicians is another important aspect of finding success in the College of Music. To help with this, the OSS offers a handful of community-wide social events each year, such as the CoM-Unity Picnic each Fall, the Valentine’s Day “Love Yourself” event, and even a free bowling night during Graduate Orientation.
