Christian Koller serves as a Graduate Academic Program Specialist for the Florida State University College of Music. He received the Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Vocal Studies concentration from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey where he trained as a tenor with Dr. Sean McCarther and studied choral conducting with Dr. James Jordan. While at Westminster, Christian was featured as a soloist and a conductor on recordings for the Westminster Williamson Voices and The Same Stream. He has also performed at several venues including Carnegie Hall, Verizon Hall, Oxford University, Lincoln Center, and the Salt Lake Tabernacle.
After earning his degree, Christian spent time working as a freelance musician. He has worked as a voice teacher, church musician, and songwriter, and has performed with bands as a pianist, guitarist, bass player, and vocalist. Although his education is in classical music, his interests also extend to commercial genres and he enjoys writing, recording, and performing indie rock, pop, alternative, and many others.
