For soprano and alto singers currently in 8 & 9 grade, please see the Treble Choir Camp.

Daily Classes & Rehearsals

From 8am-5pm, singers will follow a class schedule determined by their grade level and voice part.   Tenor and Bass singers will rehearse and perform in the Mixed Choir, Tenor/Bass Choir, and a small ensemble.  Soprano and Alto singers will rehearse and perform in the Mixed Choir, the Soprano/Alto Choir, and a small ensemble.

All singers will take two daily elective classes, daily voice masterclass, and participate in the Tenor/Bass or Soprano/Alto finale group. Singers can choose elective classes with topics such as conducting, musicianship, steel pans, world music, and musical theatre.  Sample schedules can be found below.

Evening Activities

Music rehearsals take place on most evenings from 7pm-9:30pm.  On Wednesday evening, recreation activities are planned. A sample evening schedule can be found below, and the official evening schedule will be provided two weeks before camp begins.

Performance Opportunities

Camp will conclude with two final performances; an Ensembles Concert on Friday evening at 7:00pm, and a Choir Concert on Saturday at 10:00am.  Families are welcome to attend both performances.

Honors Solo Recital

The Honors Solo Recital is a special performance on Thursday evening featuring solo performances from selected students.  Campers have the option to audition for the Honors Solo Recital at check-in.  Selected singers will be assigned to the Class Voice elective, in lieu of one elective class, where they will have the opportunity to work on a solo piece to perform at the concert on Thursday evening.

Honors Chamber Choir

The Honors Chamber Choir is a small choir of select singers that will perform at the Saturday concert.  Campers have the option to audition for this choir at check-in.  Selected singers will rehearse with this ensemble in lieu of one elective class.
