College of Music Joins Festival of Creative Arts

The Florida State University College of Music is proud to once again take part in the Festival of Creative Arts, which takes place throughout the month of February on the University campus. This multi-disciplinary festival, which brings together various departments from across the campus, is a celebration of the innovative and diverse collaborations resulting from the fusion of different modes of artistic expression and academic disciplines.

As a key contributor to this cultural extravaganza, the College of Music is thrilled to showcase the incredible creative talent, ongoing research, and innovation happening within its halls. Dr. Iain Quinn, Festival Director and the University’s Research Fellow in the Arts and Humanities, emphasizes the importance of the event.

“The festival is a celebration of the creative talent, ongoing research, and innovation on our campus, with a special focus on interdisciplinary collaborations,” said Quinn. “We were thrilled with the response to the inaugural festival and look forward to welcoming audiences back to campus for these special events.”

The College’s participation in the Festival begins in early February, followed by a week of diverse activities starting on February 20:

All events are free and open to the public.
