Sudarat Songsiridej has served as a Music Specialist for the Florida State University College of Music and School of Dance since 1997. She is a Coach/Accompanist for the Music Theatre Program; Dance Musician for the School of Dance; Assistant Music Director for the School of Theatre’s fall and spring musicals; and Pianist/Arranger for the Annual Music Theatre New York Showcase. Prior to her arrival at FSU, she served as Visiting Assistant Professor of Music for the Dance Department at the University of South Florida (1996-1997).

She has worked with artists including Anne Reinking, Maltby and Shire, Suzanne Farrell, and Jawole Willa Jo Zolla; played masterclasses for Violette Verdy, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Martha Graham Dance Company; composed/arranged dance music for choreographers such as Joe Goode, Lynne Wimmer, and Libby Patenaude. She has worked with numerous local and regional theatre and dance companies and has collaborated with many song writers to create piano vocal scores for musical productions.

She holds degrees in Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music (BM) and the Juilliard School of Music (MM), Piano Pedagogy from FSU (MM) and has completed the Somatic Voicework™ Certification Courses, LoVetri Method I-III from Shenandoah University, Virginia and the LoVetri Institute at Baldwin Wallace University, Ohio.
