The FSU College of Music is partnering with Javacya Arts Conservatory to present Music Fest – A Festive Evening of Musical Excellence. This event will feature performances from FAMU DRS Youth Orchestras and Dance Company, the Southside Orchestra and Cultural Arts Program, the Florida Society Youth Orchestra, and guest vocalists Darryl Tookes and Mary Bush-Smith, accompanied by the Javacya Elite Chamber Orchestra and the Cairo High School Chorus
Admission to this event is free for FAMU and FSU students with valid ID. Tickets for the performance range in price from $20-$75 and are available online at vtixonline.com. Proceeds from this concert will be used to provide scholarships, masterclasses, instruments, and private lessons for participating students of the Javacya Arts Conservatory.
