Tissa Khosla

Tissa Khosla is saxophonist, educator, and technologist whose work bridges performance, teaching, and creative applications of technology in music. He has performed internationally with Marcus Roberts’ Modern Jazz Generation, collaborated with orchestras and artists across disciplines, and taught at institutions such as Roosevelt STAY, in Washington D.C., and Swing Central in Savannah, GA. He holds a B.A. in Music from Florida State University and an M.M. in Jazz Studies from Michigan State University, where his work focused on Thelonious Monk’s saxophonists.
Most recently he can be heard playing Baritone Saxophone with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra featuring the Modern Jazz Generation as well as the MJG’s upcoming release, Tomorrow’s Promises. In addition to his performance and practice, he has developed innovative music-technology projects, including custom software tools for Sibelius and AI-powered practice resources. Khosla also co-directs the FSU High School Honors Jazz Ensemble, dedicated to mentoring the next generation of jazz musicians.
