Sidney Clarke-Lequerique
Sidney has been a Choral Music teacher in Montgomery County, Maryland since 2018. Starting this year, she will be the Choral Director at Richard Montgomery High School having previously taught at Gaithersburg High School and Oak View Elementary School. A proud Florida State Alumna, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Choral Music Education from FSU’s College of Music. While she was on campus she served on the staff for the FSU Marching Chiefs as color guard captain for two years and sang in the University Singers. Ms. Clarke is a sister of the Alpha Omega Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma, an honorary brother of the Gamma Nu Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, and a member of NAfME and ACDA.From the Orange Bowl to the National Championship she has spun all over the country having over 13 years of experience in flag, rifle, and sabre. An active choreographer, she writes for schools in Maryland and Florida currently and is in her 5th year of leading the color guard component of the FSU Marching Band Leadership camp. In her free time she is an assistant music director and sings alto with the 18th Street Singers, a local choral group in DC.
