Michelle Pellito, MM, MT-BC, is a member of the Clinical Teaching Faculty at Florida State University. Pellito brings over 15 years of experience as a music therapy business owner alongside a diverse background in medical, rehabilitation, special education, hospice, and behavioral health settings. She has experience supervising both music therapy students and practicing professionals.
Her clinical expertise includes music therapy for premature infants, early childhood development, adolescents with developmental disabilities, mental health, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease.
Throughout her career, Pellito has served her community through long-lasting programs and partnerships. Most notably, she established an early learning music program that served children and parents during early developmental years for over a decade, and she has directed a Parkinson’s disease awareness choir for more than 15 years.
Pellito is a proud alumna, having earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music therapy from Florida State University.
