Grace Atkins is an arts leader, creative strategist, and advocate for the transformative power of the performing arts. As Director of Production for the FSU College of Music, she oversees the College’s performance venues and the planning and execution of performances.
With a career spanning artistic programming, production management, development, and community engagement, Atkins is known for building meaningful connections between spaces, artists, and audiences. Her previous roles include Artistic Programming Manager for Opening Nights, and Adult Programs Manager and Development Operations Manager for Thomasville Center for the Arts. To this day, she claims the most stressful position she has worked in was as an Accounting Tutor during her graduate student years.
In her free time, Atkins is an avid community volunteer. Her board and organizational service includes LeMoyne Arts Board of Directors, Spring Fling Committee for Big Bend Hospice, Wildlife Arts Festival Committee for Thomasville Center for the Arts, Assistant Producer of Cultural Capital 2020 with Georgians for the Arts, Georgia Delegate for the National Arts Action Summit (2019-2020), and as a merch girl for the Tallahassee Roller Derby.
Atkins is a proud Florida State University alum (B.A. in Music; B.S. in Anthropology) and graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design (M.A. in Creative Business Leadership). Her professional memberships include the Association of Performing Arts Professionals and the International Association of Venue Managers. She was honored to be a member of the 2025 APAP Emerging Leader’s Institute cohort.
