Dr. Rick Greenwood

Dr. Greenwood has 17 years of music teaching experience in the Frankfort, KY and Salem, OR public school systems. His 22 years of college teaching experience includes the University of Central Florida, Willamette University and Pacific University.

He received his education at the University of Kentucky, (BME) University of Northern Colorado (MM/Conducting) and Florida State University (Ph. D)

He has served as a member of the national Kappa Kappa Psi board, of directors, on the World Association of Wind Ensembles committee and as president of the Southern Division College Band Directors National Association.

Dr. Greenwood has served as guest conductor, clinician, or adjudicator in 17 countries and 17 of the United States. He has published research articles and written book chapters in the “Teaching Music Through Performance” series.
