We’re Chiefs Forever. Adopt a Chief Today!

Every fall, Marching Chiefs students dedicate 23 hours each week to bring the sound and spirit of FSU to life. Along with a full course load of classes, they practice, perform and repeat, with an extraordinary commitment of time and talent. Each Chief also spends approximately $150 every year to purchase marching shoes, a hat, instrument supplies and other required materials.

The College of Music launched the Chiefs United endowment in 2022 to eliminate these costs for current and future Chiefs. We are one-third of the way to our goal, and with your help, we can finish strong!

We are asking our loyal Chiefs alumni, parents and friends to consider “Adopting a Chief.” If 420 donors make a gift of $2,500 to adopt a Chief, we will meet our endowment goal and eliminate these costs for students — now and forever.

Why It Matters

Your gift doesn’t just support a student—it secures the legacy of the Marching Chiefs for generations to come.

When you Adopt a Chief, you will have the opportunity to select a section or have us pick a Chief for you. We’ll send you a profile of your adopted student from the current Marching Chiefs and feature you on our Donor Roll!
