The Florida State University College of Music proudly welcomes you to the 2026-2027 UMA Concert Season – a vibrant year of artistry, excellence, and collaboration featuring world-class artistry, dynamic collaborations, and transformative performances features over 30 major concerts alongside legendary guest artists.
From monumental classics like Bach’s Mass in B Minor, Carlisle Floyd’s Of Mice and Men, a centennial celebration of the University Symphony Orchestra, to world-class Opening Nights collaborations featuring Audra McDonald, “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, this is a season you will not want to miss!

Voice Faculty: A Vocal Mosaic – A celebration of jazz, Broadway, art song, and opera arias presented College of Music faculty; University Wind Orchestra: Music of John Williams (FSU Family Weekend); University Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Choir: Bach’s Mass in B Minor



Fall Opera: Carlisle Floyd’s Of Mice and Men (Marking the Carlisle Floyd centennial, FSU Opera joins Houston Grand Opera, Kansas City Opera, and Des Moines Opera Theatre as the only collegiate member of this consortium of professional opera companies for this special production.); Jazz Ensemble I: Celebrating Women in Jazz; Guest Artist: Jasmine Choi, former principal flutist of the Vienna Symphony
