The Florida State University College of Music is proud to announce the start of the 2022-2023 concert season with two very attractive subscription packages: the UNIVERSITY MUSICAL ASSOCIATES CONCERT SERIES and the HOUSEWRIGHT VIRTUOSO SERIES.

The University Musical Associates (UMA) Concert Series (17 events) kicks off on September 9th with our jazz faculty and special guest vocalist, Inga Swearingen. The University Symphony Orchestra gives their season debut the following week featuring works by Copland, Prokofiev, and Brahms. Wondering which operas will be performed this season? Spoiler alert: The Marriage of Figaro in the fall and A Streetcar Named Desire in the spring!

The Housewright Virtuoso Series (8 events) begins on September 30th with the debut performance of the Dohnányi Chamber Players and continues with a celebration of Schubert with our string, voice, and piano faculty and special guests, a performance by the fabulous Ying Quartet, and a star-studded salute to Broadway legend Jerry Herman, featuring guest artists and student performers.
