The 2019 and 2020 school years saw eight Seminole percussion alumni winning full-time performing and university teaching positions. These include Stephen Kehner (Oregon Symphony Orchestra), Mitchell Gribbroek (US Army Field Band), Peter Soroka (US Army Concert Band “Pershing’s Own”), Melinda Leoce (Adams State University), Matt Jordan (Jacksonville State University), Gordon Hicken (Stevenson University), Luis Rivera (Oklahoma City University) and Jacob Kight (University of South Florida). Congratulations to all, and best wishes as you continue your musical journey as ambassadors of the FSU College of Music!
