Marching Chiefs Campaign for Travel Funds

A Message from the Dean:

Magic happens when the chiefs hit the road. They bring the sounds that unite Seminole fans everywhere, from the unrelenting war chant to the deeply moving “Hymn to the Garnet and the Gold.” They inspire our great athletic teams to “strive for victory,” and they create a bond among generations of band members that is cherished forever. Our goal is to spread the Seminole spirit by sending the Chiefs to additional away games. The Marching Chiefs have been excellent stewards of their financial resources, but additional support is needed if we are to expand our reach. Please consider making a contribution, large or small, to get the Chiefs on the road to additional games, to inspire more fans, and to stand strong with the team. Go 'Noles! Go Chiefs!

Patricia J. Flowers
Dean, College of Music

A Message from the Director:

We are always proud to travel with the football team and support them in hostile stadiums. The Marching Chiefs have been at some impressive Seminole road victories over Notre Dame, UF, Miami, LSU, and all of our ACC rivals. We hope to continue this level of support well into the future.
Patrick Dunnigan
Director of Bands

A  Message from the Head Coach:

The Band and the fans are where everything starts. They set the tempo, they set the tone, and they set the demeanor of the game. When the band is behind us, we play that much better. No team does it by itself. The Marching Chiefs are an inspiration when we are on the road. You can see everyone respond when you hear the fight song in a hostile environment.
Jimbo Fisher
Head Coach, Florida State Seminoles
