String Orchestra Camp
June 22 - July 5, 2008
(Camp will take place over the weekend of June 28 & 29 and on July 4th)
At this two week large ensemble camp,
students receive instruction in individual sessions, small sectionals, and large ensembles. We provide students with the opportunity to work directly with faculty from FSU and nationally recognized conductors and teachers. Each classically based curriculum includes music theory, instructional classes, masterclasses, public performances, and optional private lessons.
Upon arrival at camp, students will be placed into either the symphonic or philharmonic
orchestra as well as one of two string orchestras/chamber ensemble.
Optional Private lessons will be offered. Lessons may be organized after the student has been reigstered by using Form J of the registration packet that will be mailed to you. Please review Form J for details on signing up for and paying for priviate lessons.
No audition required for String Orchestra Camp.

July 5 - Opperman Music Hall - 9:00am (Chamber String Orch, Philharmonic & Symphony Orch.)
