A Message from the Dean:
Members of the Marching Chiefs are transformed by their experience on the field and in the stands as they represent the best of FSU through inspired performances week after week. Alumni, friends, and audiences everywhere feel the power of the Chiefs exemplified by their superb musicianship and precision showmanship. I ask your support for the Marching Chiefs instrument campaign as we strive to keep that Seminole sound in top form. This year we look toward purchasing new brass, especially those mellophones, baritones, and tubas that rock the crowds every game day. Please consider a contribution, large or small, that will go directly toward shining instruments for one of the greatest band programs in the nation. We are ever grateful for your generosity. Go 'Noles! Go Chiefs!

A Message from the Director:
Our Marching Chiefs dedicate themselves to two primary goals: supporting the team, and bringing first-class halftime entertainment to Seminole fans. At every rehearsal, and at every game, our students give 100 percent effort in pursuit of the standard of excellence established by our alumni decades ago. Now we are stepping up to provide 100 percent support to the Marching Chiefs.
We have recently upgraded our rehearsal field and storage facilities, and now the time has come to upgrade our instrument inventory. Our instrument inventory has not been thoroughly updated since 1991. In fact, we are still using many instruments that were obtained in 1974. This is in stark contrast to many of our peer institutions that replace and update instruments every decade.
Our students deserve top quality equipment that will allow them to sound their very best. If you believe, as I do, that the Marching Chiefs are a vital component of our athletics, our cultural life, and our campus, then please help us with your contribution. Your tax-deductible gift to this instrument campaign will be used exclusively to ensure that we keep the sound of the war chant ringing strong throughout Doak Campbell Stadium well into the future.
I thank you in advance for your support. Go 'Noles!
