| The College of Music has exceeded enrollment limitations and, as a result, will not be accepting applications for mid-year entrance (Spring semesters). We are now accepting applications for Summer or Fall 2010. |
| Oboe auditions are closed on January 23 and February 27. Applicants should choose either February 13 or contact Professor Eric Ohlsson for other options. |

October 14 In order to receive notification from FSU on December 9, your FSU application and all supporting documents must be received on or before October 14. More Details |

December 1 Priority application deadline. Because of the volume of applicants, please plan to apply as early as possible. The College of Music will continue to accept applications after December 1 as long as openings are still available for your intended area of study. |

December 1 Postmark deadline for recorded auditions. The College of Music will continue to accept recorded auditions after December 1 as long as openings are still available for your intended area of study. |

December 1 Postmark deadline for Graduate Voice Performance Prescreening Applications. |
|
December 1 The deadline to complete the MM Orchestral Conducting application is December 1. Invitations to the on-campus conducting exam will be emailed by January 15. The on-campus exam and audition with the University Philharmonia will be held on February 17. |

December 15 Notification of Graduate Voice Performance Prescreening results. |
|
January 5 - 16 Review period for complete Graduate Musicology, Theory and Composition applications. |

January 20 In order to receive notification from FSU on March 17, your FSU application and all supporting documents must be received on or before January 20. More Details |

February 6 or 20 On-campus Graduate Musicology, Theory and Composition Interviews. |

February 17 On-campus Orchestral Conducting Exam. |
|
February 27 Final date for Merit-based Financial Aid consideration. Although the College of Music may continue to accept completed applications, no financial consideration will be assured after this date. |

March 8-12 The College of Music will make final admissions decisions for all applicants during this period and notifications will be mailed by March 12. Please be sure your academic application to FSU is complete well in advance. Incomplete applications and academic issues will result in delayed notification. Transfer Students: Notifications will begin on March 8th for students with completed FSU applications. Academic issues or incomplete files can delay notification by several months. |
